Ubuntu one on precise


If you are familiar with services like Dropbox, Ubuntu One apparently does the same job. Ubuntu one features

Setup instructions for Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise)

Before setting up Ubuntu One, you should ensure your system is up to date. Run Update Manager to install any necessary updates by clicking on the Ubuntu power menu in the upper right corner, select ”System Settings” and then click on Update Manager. Once the update is complete you can begin this setup process. Please read our FAQ first if you’re have trouble setting up Ubuntu One.

Already have an Ubuntu One account

  1. Click on the Ubuntu One icon in the launcher

  1. Click the Install button

  1. Enter your Ubuntu password (the one you use to login to your computer)

  1. Click on the Sign me in with my existing account button

  1. Enter your email address and password and click the Sign In button

  1. Click the Finish button

  1. Click the Next button

  1. Fill in all the fields, click the checkbox and click the Set Up Account button

  1. Check your email for a verification code email, copy and paste it into the Verification code field and click the Next button
