Adding to Git

Git a very simple and easy use CVS. Its power comes when you use command line. Learning command line is also the easiest.

Creating Repository

git init                        //initializing a repo

git add .                    // Adding all the contents to staging area

git commit -m ‘Initial stage of development’             //Commiting changes

Create a new remote repository and now include the repo name in below command

git remote add origin ‘gits Repo -> copy it from your Git’

git push -u origin master                   //Pushing to remote repository
